John,
I wrote a small cron script to grep your connection log for connections
from non-ham callsign formats.
It dumps any non-compliances to a file, in a BBS import file format
directed to me as a private message.
This is the first time I'm running auto-import, and I'm seeing some
strange behaviors. This is on pilinbpq, version 6.0.12.13

Firstly, even though I have my own forwarding rules set up to import and
delete the file, and to automatically forward to me periodically, it
will not do the forward automatically. I've noticed this before, prior
to the import experiment, when I was operating mobile and wanted to
forward normal messages to myself to pick up on my portable system
running RMS Express. But it was temporary then and I forgot about it
until now.

Next, I can make it forward to me by hitting the "Forward Now" button on
the html interface. But very strangely, when it does, it correctly
deletes the imported file, on the first try, but ALSO, it removes the
"DELETE" option from my html forwarding config screen. The linmail.cfg
file looks like this: "IMPORT CONNLST.TXT DELETE|" On subsequent
attempts to manually "Forward Now", it properly forwards the file, but
neglects to delete it afterward. The linmail.cfg file still reads:
"IMPORT CONNLST.TXT DELETE|"

If I put a line feed after the file name, (before the word DELETE) and
do the same, it does not delete the import file, nor does it change the
config screen. In this case, the linmail.cfg file looks like this:
"IMPORT CONNLST.TXT | DELETE"

So, how can I get it to auto-import to my own (the BBS's) callsign AND
delete the file afterward, repeatedly? And how can I cause it to
properly display the forwarding rules?

Thanks,
Joe
