Peter,
Any non-alphanumeric will cause a problem, so if I'm changing it we
might as well go with underscore. I'll add that to the next version.

I see. I am just looking for an easy way to distinguish
pseudo
users from real ones and thus any non-[A-Z,0-9]
character will
do because it does not appear in a real callsign. Just
choose the
one which is simplest to do for you if you want to make
a change .

Peter,
I use the BBS Username as a key to the configuration file, and the
configuration package I use (libconfig) doesn't allow key names that begin
with an underscore. It would be relatively easy to fix.

Hi all,
I am using a couple of BBS pseudo users the main purpose of
which is to interface with other local software. As these
users do not have real callsigns I use descriptive names for
them instead (e.g. WLKGBR for the BBS which forwards messages
for stations in Great Britain via Winlink).
To better distinguish the pseudo users from the re al ones and
to emphasize their virtual nature I tried to use user names
starting with the underscore character (e.g. _WKGBR) for the
pseudo users and it seems to me that the user management lets
me create those names. However it seems that no forwarding
information is stored when configuring them in the "Manage
Forwarding" window. Hints welcome.
