Hans,
Welcome to the group!
The debug output from RIGCONTROL DEBUG is written to the Windows debug log,
and the best way to see that is to run debugview - see

Once you have that working it should give a clue as to why your scan isn't
working. Send me the log if the reason isn't obvious.
Have you received any telnet connections? If not, there won't be a
TelnetServer log.
There is no option for a node prompt.
You can't route calls to applications using the source call. This is done by
connecting to the application callsign. With Pactor this is a bit more
complicated to set up that for packet. You have to specify the application
to route the call to on the scan frequency line, and add
USEAPPLCALLSFORPACTOR to the SCS port configurations.
I'm a bit puzzled as to why you need different Pactor controllers for WL2K
and the Node/BBS. Can't you just use the Dragon?

John G8BPQ

Subject: [BPQ32] BPQ32 scanner and debug issues
Hi all!
I am new to the group and hope to find sme help with a new setup.
After many years of running the pactor gateway DA5UDI with different other
software I decided to change to BPQ32.
Now I have a few issues where I could not find any helpful information in
the various documents and here in the group.
I am running version BPQ32 6.0.11.1 on Windows10 Pro 64bit.
Transceiver is an Icom IC7200 with integrated soundmodem.
I am using 2 modems to support different applications
- Modem 1 is P4Dragon for WL2K (DA5UDI)
- Modem 2 a PTC2USB for node and bbs (DA5UDI-1)
Both are connected with the new "AUD COPY" feature of the Dragon firmware
2.10.
This part works fine.
I also use a Winmor-TNC from my former Trimode installation.
Nearly everything works fine, AXIP connects in and out, Pactor in and out,
CMR connects, applications like DX-cluster, BBS etc.
But there are a few open issues:
Issue 1:
During my step by step configuration the RIGCONTROL stopped scanning.
I am not sure why, when and do not find the reason.
It worked before and I don't get it to work again.
Connectivity is OK, I can control the trcv from the terminal, can change
QRG, filters, start outgoing calls on both modems and Winmor.
I switched off everything several times, PC, IC7200, modems, deactivated
port by port, but without any success.
The RIGCONTROL setup is in the modem configuration for the P4Dragon.
The 2 SCS modems and the Winmor TNC all use INTERLOCK=1.
It was all tested and it still works fine, but not the scanning feature.
The configuration part looks like this:
RIGCONTROL
COM3 9600 ICOM IC7200 76 PTT_SETS_INPUT
6,7.0499,USB,F2,D,P1234,W2
6,14.0934,USB,F3,D,P12,W1
6,14.1009,USB,F2,D,P1234,W2
6,14.1074,USB,F2,D,P1234,W2
6,14.1089,USB,F2,D,P1234,W2
****
I tried startscan/stopscan etc .
The SCS Pactor status windows both show "Mode: STANDBY, TX/RX State:
Receiver",
the Winmor status is "Channel State: Clear, Proto State: DISCONNECTED".
When I start the software the transceiver is switched to "14.0934 USB D"
with the correct filter, whatever it showed before.
This is the 2nd entry in my list above.
Issue 2:
I found the "DEBUG" feature for RIGCONTROL, but it obviously does not work
here.
This is the way that I added it to the setup above:
RIGCONTROL
DEBUG COM3 9600 ICOM IC7200 76 PTT_SETS_INPUT
....
It does not show anything, no output to the screen, no logfile.
However, my logfile directory is completely empty, there is no log at all,
even though that I have LOGGING=1 in the telnet server setup.
Do I need to activate something to get logfiles?
Issue3:
less important... is there a way to get a node prompt?
Something like
DL5DI de DA5UDI>
after execution of a command?
Another Question:
Can I start applications at a connect of an incoming station based on the
source callsign?
Example: one BBS always connects in for store&forward,
can I start the BBS connection automatically for that callsign, but not for
others?
Thank you for support.
