Jose' CX2SA can not be the only one singled out, any BBS with NNTP server
JNOS, openBCM etc. and other methods can be used, First I just want to
Say, I have know Jose' for many years and has always been helpful to the
Packet Radio Services.
There are two ways to look at this and the one that stands out the most
Is the ability to read messages intended Amateur Radio operators and
Should be set to only that operation, we have suffered too much of a
Loss of Packet Radio along with other modes to allow Packet message/
Bulletins being read by just anyone.
You & I have become aware of the changing of the (Group) @ARRL news
Letter to @WW, NNTP servers would be one way this could be done by
CB BBS'S and there are many.
My NNTP server has disabled for about a year now ever since I caught
Robots trying to break in to the Web server and NNTP server, thankfully
John solved this problem.
Again my only point here but drawn out a bit is there will always

And is up to the Sysop how to run his/hers BBS.
I have done the Windows updates yesterday but not checked them.

FInally figured it out and have it running on linBPQ.
Only snag I have run into is that when I connect ve3uil.dyndns.org/81 it
brings up a choice of three
Node Pages
APRS Pages
WebMail
The Node pages works as before the WEBMAIL takes me to the signin and
that works fine
but the APRS Pages takes me to a page that says "page not found".
I did the renaming as suggested .
Anyone else have this problem?
As to the concept, I love it. As a linBPQ operator I rely on the Web
Interface far more I think than the Windows users do.
I'd also make a comment, some time back CX2SA developed an app
FBBtoWEB.exe which created a webpage of bulletins received at FBB BBSs.
This received some criticism from some bulletin authors that complained
that their bulletins were being made available to the general
Internet population and criticized Jose for what I thought was a very
handy application. For the life of me I never understood this complaint.
However, I think your application John, has covered it very nicely, by
requiring login of BPQ users.
