Dan,
You don’t need STOP or STARTSCAN. The ATTACH commands stops it, and
disconnecting restarts it.
You use RC callsign to make a Packet call.
There is an example of a connect script in

Thought I already posted this but for some reason its not showing up on
the reflector, so sorry if it posts twice.
I am trying to set up an HF forwarding script and have some questions.
I am currently scanning 40m & 80m, do I need to do a Stop Scanning
command in the script and resume scanning when the forward is complete?
I am currently scanning for P123, 300Baud PKT via my PTCIII-USB modem,
do I need any special commands in the script to tell the modem to
connect using Packet at 300 baud?
Can anyone show me a sample HF forwarding connection script ?
