I am not sure what point you are trying to make there, Matthew. - How
are hams "penalized" if BBS networks that do not allow non-ham links -
and so do not carry the bulletins that the non-ham BBS stations carry?
Note that both in size and volume, the traffic on the non-ham BBS
networks is unworkable on the real thing. - So of course a ham radio BBS
network is not going to transport of offer the same content.
Who is being penalized with no way to separate the two networks? - The
hams who want to use ham radio, that's who.
I understand why the non-ham types would have trouble grasping that
simple point, though. - How could one limit and undercut the use of
radio otherwise?
