I am trying to figure out the setup of AMPR mail the ipgateway is
working that is not a problem. In the configuration
Screen for the BBS the AMPR address I placed my (call of the
bbs)@ampr.org as is shown in the example
send ampr.org mail to AMPR Host is checked
User Ampr is setup as a BBB with forwarding checked. SMTP is set in the
connect script box times are set 0000-2359 enable forwarding is checked.
Nothing else is in any box an no other box is checked.
I seem to be able to send a message to Mike N9PMO but when I went to his
BBB by telnet as my second call ve9sc
Leaving a message for ve9mpf@ve1mpf.ampr.org the message seem to get
caught in a loop I had to kill the BBS as it was received over twenty
time same message I then tried ve1mpf@ve1mpf.ampr.org and
ve9sc@ve1mpf.ampr.org all from Mike's N9PMO BBS same results. Received
the message several time had to kill BBS to stop repeating message.
In the configuration should it be call@ampr.org or call@call.ampr.org or
just ampr.org
I tried addressing the message also to call@ampr.org but then I receive
a message route not found
44.0.0.1
Also it is my understanding that it will not pickup mail go anywhere to
retrieve it, it has to be send by a BBS that can resolve your 44 IP .
Anyone who has it working if I have something wrong or you wish to test
it please advise.
