Hi,
I am staying the whole month and New Year's Eve in a small house in the
Murcia region. The place is named "La Azohía" (IM97jn) and is open to
the sea (SW > S). Hopefully new or rare signals difficult to hear in
Cantabria (Northern Spain) could appear here..

I have not yet installed my antennas but I put up one of my Eco
MiniWhips and checked conditions for listening. Fortunately they are
very good with just a few low QRM signals on Long Wave.

At 18:00 utc I could hear on 290 kHz the NDB ESR. This is a new signal
for me and it seems not to be listed. Has anyone heard it? It's given a
steady and well audible sound even at daytime, so I'd say it is coming
from North Africa. Details are:

Nominal fx: 290 kHz
Call: ESR
Cycle: 5,8 sec
ID each 2,5 sec
LSB: 940 Hz
USB: 960 Hz.

Any info welcome!
