I use NET/ROM on most of my ports. 

But that shouldn't be an issue with FX.25 enabled as I can also decrease 
NET/ROM's frame sizes to appropriate values. But that's something which 
isn't done correctly in most node software implementations so that might 
lead to other complications. And you need to take in account the NET/ROM 
header overhead...

Sounds like I've got something to experiment with in a couple of days. First 
I need to downgrade my Rpi's linux kernel to the latest 4.19 version because 
I discovered a major security flaw/issue with kernel 5.4 and up when using 
Linux's native AX.25 stack. ;)
