Yeah.

that's se only Problem with that FX.25.
The packet len is growing a lot and other stations get trouble with it.

Like i wrote at beginning i use 32 Bytes on our DX Node where i
excepting long range QSOs and
16 B Mode on my home Node ( I-Net Gateway). Here i expect more traffic
because of the Gateway and not so much wide range QSO's.
FX.25 on my Home Node isn't so necessary but i use it for testing
purposes and i guess 16 B isn't so much increase the paclen so it's ok
to use it.

If i have to transfer a lot of data ( Download Logfiles or FBB is
sending a daylie status Mail from the DX Node ) i increase the pachlen
to 230 on the 32 B FX.25 and 250 on the 16 B Station to "disable" FX.25
for a short time without restating DW every time.

If we want get a "measurement" to compare the decoding capabilities of
FX.25 enabled or not, DW has a possibility to compare a Audio stream
with different versions and configs.

But thats the point. I have to capture a audio stream on good DX
conditons.
But at home i havn't so much DX es incoming and our DX Node hasn't the
capabilities for that.

Would like to read about your conclusion about your experience with
FX.25 sometime.

Greetings and
